Junge Deutsche PhilharmonieThe orchestra of the future. The best students from colleges and academies play in the Junge Deutsche Philharmonie, and thus gain experience as a top-class orchestra. In the process, they work with renowned soloists such as Angela Hewitt, Patricia Kopatchinskaya, Martin Helmchen, and play under conductors such as Lothar Zagrosek, Peter Rundel, and Kent Nagano. Not only do they develop an established repertoire, but each year they also perform a premiere, with works by Wolfgang Riehm, Robin de Raaf, and Enno Poppe created for the orchestra. |
